Application: Secure remote patient care and monitoring – non-real-time (Non-critical functions)
Description
Common clinical data captured by bio-sensors include vital signs, weight, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and heart rate. Data can be sent to a physician’s office by using a special software application installed on the patient’s mobile device. Data ia stored in a database so the healthcare professional can view the data as a specific instance or as a trend and intervene if necessary.
Devices
- Wearable devices with bio-sensors automated to capture and transmit health data to healthcare providers in a different location for assessment and recommendations.
